Non-genuine Products: When you are buying something new, regardless of what it is, the product is only as good as the quality of the instructions included. This is especially relevant with fitness products. How can you get fit, lose weight and tone up if you don’t really know how to use the product you bought ? Ask yourself whether the instructions provided with your product provide adequate information on how to use it.

If it comes with a DVD, it needs to be at least 40 mins in length. This will allow for a balanced workout including technique explanation, warm-up, workout section and a cooldown. No substitute for a Flexibar!, 26 Nov 2007

I have owned both a Flexibar and a Vibrablade and there is no real comparison between the two - The Flexibar is superior in every way…..The Vibrablade consists of two fibreglass rods which screw together whereas the Flexibar is one continuous rod. As a result, the Vibrablade is not able to transmit anywhere near the same amount of vibration through the body as the Flexibar so it fails to stimulate the muscles.

……….The build quality of my Vibrablade was very poor; it was very noisy and clicked at the joining point of the two rods when used. After 10 minutes use, the adhesive joining one of the fibreglass rods to the handle failed so it was bye bye Vibrablade! (Amazon gave me a refund extremely quickly, most impressed!).

The Vibrablade mxay cost five times less than the Flexibar, but the Flexibar will give you an infinitely better workout.

I bought the Vibra Blade because it was so much cheaper than the Flexi-bar. I wish I had not bothered. It was great the first two times I used it. On the third time one part separated from the other and flew across the room at speed during an exercise.

On investigation I found that the end had been glued into the screw attachment that joins the two sections. I am lucky no damage was done. The damage also revealed that the bars are steel not fibre glass as in the Flexi-bar. Avoid this product.

“I used this item after I was given it as a Christmas gift. On the first day of ownership it broke!! The product is glued together very badly & the blade separated whilst in use. ……. What concerns me is that others on here have experienced the problem so it’s clearly a design flaw & should be taken off sale before somebody is injured by it.

………… Only seconds earlier it could have been a completely different story & injured both myself & a family member .……… So in summary, this item is badly designed, badly made & a real liability if you use it. So save your money!”
